Meet Your Facilitator Guides

Brannon and Taylor Ferguson

Brannon and Taylor are high school sweethearts and have been married for 13 years.

"We have been blessed with 3 children and a fourth on the way this spring. We led our first Two Becoming One small group in 2018. Using the Zoom platform for small groups is an exciting option for us as Brannon is in the military and travels frequently."

Taylor grew up around the Two Becoming One community as her parents (John and Cindy Zentmeyer) have been small group participants and leaders for 25 years. Experiencing what marriage is designed to be and watching God transform marriages through His purpose and restoration has encouraged us to continue leading small groups and seeing generations impacted for God’s Kingdom.

OUR STORY:
Our story began years before we were married in April 2006. We dated for five years, and met amazing people along the way, which led to us both receiving salvation. . After getting married, we resisted for five years searching out what God created marriage for mostly because we were afraid we didn’t have what it took to align our hearts with His plan. Thankfully, we could not have been more wrong. Finally agreeing to a 2B1 (Two Becoming One) marriage study, we were able to become equipped with the tools we needed to even begin dreaming of becoming who God created us to be, which led to trying it out and making some consistent, imperfect progress. We could see that this marriage study was filled with love, grace, protection, and promise. By God’s Grace, we have been honored to facilitate a 2B1 marriage study every year since 2011, which continually deepens God’s purpose into our lives through our marriage.

ABOUT US:
Patrick has a background in business development/marketing and Jessica is a stay at home/ homeschooling mom, after working in the dental field as a dental hygienist for 10 years.
We love being with our children and watching them learn and grow as all their different personalities unfold. We love hiking, bike riding, skiing, travel, RV’ing and even tried our first attempts at surfing as a family.
God is good and the love He has for you is undeniable!

Our journey started 20 years ago, then we became One in 2013!
We have struggled, we have loved, we have fought for each other.
As a Blended Family we have made it work.
We have facilitated 2B1 groups for 8 years with a few breaks in between.
We have discovered we are better with God in our Marriage, and every time we go through 2B1 God renews our Marriage for sure!!

OUR STORY:
Our rookie year with the 2 Becoming 1 study by Don and Sally Meredith was in 1996. Cindy signed us up for the small group with our close friends Charles and Buffy Wimmer.
Sonny was hesitant as he felt they had already taken a marriage study and checked that off the list. One and done. Why add something more to our already busy schedule?
Cindy was desperate to get out of the house to connect with other couples and invest in their marriage.
We had 4 young children, we were running multiple businesses, Sonny was traveling away from home 2-3 days each week, and we were unintentionally not investing time into each other or our marriage.
Maybe you know the feeling.
As a result of the study, God is continually transforming our marriage from performance to faith and has given us lifelong friendships.
Connecting, supporting and celebrating in the marriages of other couples throughout the years has continued to strengthen our own marriage! Watching God at work in other marriages is full of mountaintop moments as well!
The INTENTIONAL investments into our marriage are reaping great dividends with our marriage experiencing the joy of oneness ( NOT PERFECTION), great friendships made with other couples, our 4 married children all having taken the study, and the fullness of life with 7 grands and 2 more on the way!

ABOUT US:
Sonny has a background in business development and sales and marketing and Cindy is Board Certified in Sports Physical Therapy.
We enjoy the peace and adventure of the outdoors. We love water-sports… rowing (double scull), swimming, boating, wake-skating.
Sonny has been a competitive triathlete and we also enjoy cycling, hiking, camping, travel, sunrises, sunsets and star gazing and of course spending family time with our married children, grandchildren, and extended family.

Chris and Kelly O’Connor

We’ve been involved with the Two Becoming One study for about 10 years. Over the years we have had the opportunity to facilitate the study and develop friendships with other couples. No matter what season of life you are in God always has something new to reveal! We’ve recently relocated back to Florida from Pennsylvania. We have two children that are competitive swimmers and we enjoy our family time together. Chris is an RN and provides healthcare via telehealth. Kelly travels frequently as a Clinical Education Manager for a Medical Device Manufacturer. The Zoom class allows for our crazy schedules!
